Great pizza, friendly chef and Italian flair.

It’s our Italian local in Munich. Salvatore the owner has run this restaurant for 35 years and is on hand every day preparing fresh pastas and pizzas. His Pizza Diavolo is my favourite in Munich and it’s delicious. With nice spicy salami and anchovies with a good pinch of crushed dried red chillies on top. Prices are extremely reasonable and it’s a one man show with some help in the evenings. I love it here and it’s a totally unpretentious place with good homemade Italian food for a very reasonable price. I can usually get a meal here for under €10 and have a good chat to Salvatore while waiting for it to be prepared. Places like this are so hard to find in Munich as they preserve a bit of the atmosphere of the neighborhood.

The food was good, only the waiter hardly spoke a word of German and therefore communication was sometimes difficult.

If you want to enjoy a bit of Italy in Munich, you've come to the right place. The restaurant is small, the decor simple, but the Italian serenity and way of life is not fake and more than authentic. The flowers and herbs in the temporary outdoor area are cared for by hand with love, as if you were sitting in a small southern Italian town. Food is great, prices are okay, and likes to sit down longer than you had planned :)

Absolutely the best place to eat Italian food in Munich! ? More than recommended.

Had ordered a vegetarian pizza with gorgonzola. Unfortunately there was no trace of Gorgonzola on it. Disappointing for € 12.20.

Nice and cozy little Italian restaurant. Has a homely feel to it. The menu is small and food was cooked well. The house wine was nice. Overall a nice and warm experience. Delicious food, cheap, warm service. We were a party of 3. They served us well. Ordered papparadelle with tuna, spaghetti aglio e olio, a pizza and panna cotta for desert. The tuna was cooked exceptionally well. The portions were big, pasta cooked aldente and the panna cotta absolutely delicious.

I’m a bit split about this place + The food was really good, had fresh parpadelle with salmon which tastes amazing and the Panna cotta was one of the best I had - You enter the place it’s so smelly as in there is no ventilation at all, it’s too bad Our waitress wasn’t the best and she left half of the service which left us with the owner who didn’t care that were there. We waited 30 min and decided to stand and get the menu for dessert and then again to go to him to order our dessert...it was like if you’re not Italian he doesn’t talk to you, weird feeling Finally, you can recommend the tiramisu fine but once, I don’t find it nice to try to push so much something when your customer is asking you for something else..simple commercial logic Conclusions : you go there for the food that’s it If your looking for service then no Basic casual atmosphere

Small but nice. Delicious food, also not expensive and large portions. The Persobal is VERY friendly and service oriented, very commendable!

Service is slow, good but can't say the same thing for food. Their salad and pizza was so not tasty or good quality. Don't ever get the capricciosa salad.

Super friendly service but average place and food, not the best pizza in Munich. I suggest not to go there with fancy clothes, the fumes of the kitchen invade completely the restaurant and I went out of the place literally smelling.

It's a very cozy place, run by a lovely middle aged Italian. The tenant is very warm and welcoming. I went there for the first time with a few friends and I was hesitating between two dishes. So naturally, I asked the tenant what he would choose between the two. He suggested me home made gnocchi, they just did, with a tomato sauce. I am not a big fan of gnocchi and the meal sounded a bit simple anyway. But since he really insisted on the fact that I will like them for sure, I ordered them. I never had such yummy gnocchi! It was very simple indeed but also very tasty!! I recommend this place and will go there again for sure!
